It's hard to believe that Christmas is all over and done with yet for another year. Is it just me, or do the years seem to move faster every year? That's how I feel about it. I'm finding it difficult to wrap my mind around the fact that we're only a few days shy of 2010 =|
ANYWAY! How was my Christmas? Great, for the most part :) I had a wonderfully relaxing morning. Took the dogs for a walk with ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) chibi_nataku in the morning. It was a balmy -16C degree walk, so the air was pretty crisp XD;; Then watched The Truth About Cats and Dogs - god I still love that movie. The trip to Kamloops was great (We were in Logan Lake), and the weather was wonderful ♥ I had to do the whole 'phonecall' to my parents after I got there, and while it was great to chat with them, there was some part of me that wished that I hadn't called them then.
I really don't want to get into it at all, but it was difficult to get my mood back up after that phonecall, and I felt a little bad for being unable to keep it from my mind either. I'm not really sure if it was disappointment, or if it was a few feelings all mixed into one, but I tried to force a smile onto my face and keep it at the back of my mind.
The gift giving was a lot of fun, and it definitely gave us all a good laugh. I got someone wonderfully awesome things, and even one particular gift that I wasn't expecting, and thus hugged the gift bearer before proceeding to tell them off for buying it in the first place haha I managed to score 4 video games all up. The new Super Mario Brothers (which is so full of win and lulz... homg! I love the multiplayer function), Zelda: Spirit Tracks, Xenogears ♥, and Suikoden II ♥ ♥. I got a new wallet (so needed one of them) a new laptop bag, and a few other things (like a Ravage figure.. omfg I love Ravage <3)
Everyone seemed to enjoy the gifts I got them - which I was happy about :) The dinner was over at someone else's house, and all I can say about that is that the Christmas ham was a little on the scary side :-s I hate the piece I had out of politeness, but I definitely didn't enjoy it =_=;; I was too pooped to do much of anything once we got back, but overall it was a good day - especially since there was still snow around, so I managed to get my second 'white' Christmas :D
And last, but definitely not least, thank you continuum for the v-present ♥ it was so damn cuuuuuuuuuuuuute :D It definitely made me smile when I saw it ^o^
